Our club provides a supportive and welcoming environment for individuals of all ages and skill levels to explore the fundamentals of drawing while delving a little into the divine inspiration behind creation. Through engaging activities, step-by-step tutorials, and constructive feedback, members will develop essential skills such as mastering basic shapes, understanding proportions, and experimenting with shading and perspective. Whether your passion lies in portraits, landscapes, or imaginative illustrations, our diverse range of resources and activities will inspire you and nurture your unique artistic voice. About the instructor
Hello, my name is Keisha Salmon, and I am a freelance illustrator. Art and design have been my lifelong passions from a very young age. I find immense joy in not only creating illustrations but also in teaching others how to cultivate their own creativity. My approach revolves around delving into the fundamental elements and principles of art while drawing inspiration from the ultimate Great Master Artist, our creator. By learning from the divine craftsmanship evident in the world around us, we can imbue our illustrations with depth and meaning, effectively bringing stories and ideas to life. With a solid foundation in artistic principles and the guidance of the ultimate source of inspiration, I believe we can craft illustrations that are not only visually captivating but also deeply resonant of the lessons we have learned throughout our life. I look forward to sharing with you everything that I have learned and to aid you in your artistic journey.

BENEFITS/ WHAT WILL BE TAUGHT:
In this group students will learn:

- God as the master artist. We will explore God’s creation from an artistic perspective. Students will learn to identify the elements and principles of art in nature as used by God.
- Elements of Art. An in-depth study of how Art Works.
- Learn how to draw from life and imagination. Implementing the elements and principles to create works of art. Students will also learn how to draw what they see.
- How to make your art look 3D. Making the transition from stick figures to drawing in 3D may seem daunting, but we will see how easy it actually is.
- Roadmap for continued self-study. Every student will create a roadmap and route for studying drawing on their own. This will allow them to advance as necessary.
- Community of like-minded individuals. All students are invited to join our WhatsApp group to make new friends and share what they learned with others.
- Live critiques. Constructive positive feedback is given for students to improve their art.
- Challenges and prompt lists. To prevent art-block and fear of the blank page each month I provide a subject of study. This removes the tension of coming up with what to draw so students can focus on just drawing.
- Guided Step-by-step lessons. Students draw along with me. We move slow and steady. Lessons are sequential and build upon one another.
- Workflow: Students will learn about the art creation process artists use to plan their illustrations.
- Extra Time: 1-on-1 Private sessions are available each month for an additional cost, see below. Space is limited. First come first served.
- Mindset: Students will learn how to correctly relate to the art they create and how to deal with both constructive and negative criticism in a positive way.

RECORD KEEPING
Classes meet weekly on Sundays 5 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. Eastern.
Attendance will be taken each week.
Certificate: A grade, short description of student’s ability/progress and certificate of completion are available upon request after 6 months in the club. Certificates are an additional $10 per student.
COST:
This group is one of many ways I support myself as an independent artist. I want everyone to be able to participate so I have made the price very low at $6 per month per student. Please consider that it takes time and effort to put things together and not to mention the resources you have access to as a member of the club. Refunds/Cancellations:
- Cancellation Before the Billing Date:
If you cancel your membership before the start of a new billing cycle, you will not be charged for the upcoming month. No refunds are provided for partial months. - Cancellation During the Month:
Refunds for the current month are not available. However, you will retain access to the club benefits until the end of the billing cycle.

If using copy paper, consider bringing them to a print shop and bind them to make a book. A sketchbook is a powerful tool to look back on to see how much you have improved.
CLUB RULES: Please feel free to contact me if there are ANY issues or if you need assistance. Those who do not follow the rules will be removed from the group.
Partnerships/Posting. To keep data low all students are encouraged to post their artwork only when prompted. Disappearing texts will be turned on to also mitigate data storage. Only links pertaining to the group are allowed, please refrain from posting other links/content not related to the group.
Homework. Students are expected to complete the homework. This is how you grow as artists, by practicing. The more you practice the faster you will develop as an artist.
Participation during class. During class students are to keep their microphones muted unless they are prompted to participate. Cameras are to be turned on unless circumstances demand otherwise. Students are to refrain from calling out and are to instead raise their emoji ✋ hand to speak.
